JoinLinks, Inc. (“JoinLinks,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides a social discovery platform that spans the JoinLinks mobile apps, the joinlinks.app website, and the JoinLinks APIs that power partners and integrations. References to JoinLinks in these Terms include JoinLinks, Inc. and any entities under common control that help provide, secure, process payments for, or support the Services (our “affiliates”).

By creating an account, accessing our apps, or interacting with the content, chats, invitations, communities, and services we host (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to these Terms of Service (the “Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not access the Services.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use JoinLinks. If you are between 13 and the age of majority where you live, you may only use the Services under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. By registering, you represent that:

• the information you provide is accurate, complete, and kept up to date;
• you are legally permitted to use the Services; and
• you will maintain the security of your login credentials and authentication factors.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including activity resulting from linked phone numbers, social sign-in providers, or device tokens associated with your profile.

Date of birth, gender, and race or ethnicity are optional profile details. You may skip, change, or delete them in Settings. Any recommendation use, public calculated-age display, or community-reviewer age-eligibility sharing depends on the separate choices presented to you. Exact birth dates, gender, and race or ethnicity are handled as private information under our Privacy Policy.

JoinLinks helps people discover in-person experiences, RSVP to events (“Links”), participate in chats and polls, join communities, manage friend lists, import contacts, generate QR codes, redeem perks, and purchase premium features (Links+). Backend APIs support features such as invitations, feed posts, reporting, payments, notifications, and partner integrations. We may add, update, or remove features over time. Some functions are only available in specific regions, environments, or subscription tiers.

We rely on Firebase Authentication, SMS (Twilio), email verification, social sign-ins, and other safeguards to keep accounts secure. We may require you to verify your phone number, email address, or device before granting access to features such as RSVP confirmations, payouts, or organizer tools. By using JoinLinks you consent to receiving transactional and informational emails, SMS messages, push notifications, and in-app alerts related to your account and the Services, including reminders, updates, and messages from the hosts of events you join and the communities you belong to. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any text from us, and manage other communication and marketing preferences in-app or by contacting us.

You agree not to, and will not assist or enable others to:

• upload, share, or promote unlawful, pornographic, hateful, harassing, or fraudulent content;
• publish private or confidential information of others without consent;
• impersonate any person or entity, misrepresent your identity, or scrape profile data;
• send spam, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or other unsolicited communications;
• circumvent rate limits, access controls, or APIs without authorization;
• interfere with payment processing, QR codes, vote counts, or game mechanics; or
• engage in any conduct that violates applicable law or another user’s rights.

We may moderate user-generated content (UGC) but are not obligated to do so. Reports can be filed within the app or by emailing support@joinlinks.co.

“User Content” includes the links, text, media, polls, chats, avatars, RSVPs, ratings, and other material you create or share through the Services. You retain ownership of your User Content, but you grant JoinLinks a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, reproduce, modify, translate, adapt, publish, publicly display, and distribute that content as needed to operate, improve, promote, and secure the Services. You represent that you have the necessary rights to share your content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights. Feedback you submit (product ideas, bug reports, testimonials) may be used without obligation to you.

Hosts control access to Links (events) and may set their own attendance rules, ticket quantities, ticket prices, waitlists, age restrictions, transfer policies, check-in procedures, refund policies, and venue requirements. RSVP confirmations, tickets, QR codes, and friend lists are tools to help streamline access but do not guarantee entry if a venue, host, safety rule, law, or capacity limit prevents admission.

Hosts are responsible for accurately describing their events, honoring tickets they sell through JoinLinks, communicating material changes, and handling event operations. If an event is cancelled, postponed, moved, or materially changed, the host is responsible for telling attendees what changed and for working with JoinLinks and our payment processors on any refund or credit process that applies.

You acknowledge that JoinLinks does not oversee venues or attendee behavior. You assume all risk associated with attending in-person gatherings arranged through JoinLinks, and you agree to comply with host instructions, venue policies, and applicable laws.

Some experiences, tickets, perks, organizer tools, or subscription features require payment. Checkout totals may include the ticket price, JoinLinks service fees, payment processing fees, taxes, and other amounts shown before you submit the order. Prices, availability, coupons, and purchase limits may change until checkout is complete. A purchase may be declined or cancelled if inventory changes, sales have not started, sales have ended, the event has started, your account reaches a purchase limit, payment authorization fails, fraud checks fail, or we identify a technical or pricing error.

Payments are processed by Stripe, Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or other authorized payment partners. Those partners may collect, store, and process payment information under their own terms and privacy notices. You authorize JoinLinks and our payment partners to charge your selected payment method for purchases, fees, taxes, adjustments, chargebacks, and other amounts you owe under these Terms.

Unless a specific refund policy is shown at checkout, required by law, required by an applicable app store, or approved by JoinLinks or the host, ticket and premium-feature purchases are final. Refund requests may be denied for checked-in tickets, expired events, duplicate requests, suspected misuse, chargebacks, or requests outside the stated refund window. Approved refunds may be partial if non-refundable fees, taxes, discounts, processor costs, or already-delivered benefits apply.

Hosts who sell tickets or receive payouts may need to complete identity, tax, banking, and risk review through Stripe Connect or another payout provider. Payouts may be delayed, withheld, reversed, offset, or reserved to cover refunds, disputes, fraud, compliance reviews, negative balances, or legal requirements. Hosts remain responsible for taxes, permits, venue obligations, attendee communications, and refunds tied to their events.

Disputes related to transactions handled directly by an app store or third-party platform may need to be resolved through that platform. JoinLinks may suspend access to tickets, organizer tools, premium features, or payouts when payments fail, balances become negative, fraud is suspected, or chargebacks occur.

JoinLinks integrates with services such as Firebase, Google Maps, AWS, Twilio, Stripe, RevenueCat, Apple, Google Play, social sign-in providers, and analytics tools. Their terms and privacy notices apply when you use their features. JoinLinks is not responsible for third-party services we do not control, including events hosted by other organizers, external websites linked within the app, or developer tools using our public APIs.

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JOINLINKS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND PARTNERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO JOINLINKS IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS, SO THESE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless JoinLinks, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your User Content, your access to or use of the Services, or your violation of these Terms or any applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms, posed a risk to other users, failed to verify your identity, or engaged in suspected fraud or misuse. You may delete your account at any time in the app or by contacting support@joinlinks.co. Certain provisions of these Terms (including sections on license, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law, and dispute resolution) survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. You agree to resolve disputes with JoinLinks through binding arbitration on an individual basis in Delaware County, Delaware, or another mutually agreed location, except that you or JoinLinks may seek injunctive or equitable relief for intellectual property or security matters in any court of competent jurisdiction. YOU WAIVE THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN CLASS ACTIONS OR JURY TRIALS. If arbitration is unenforceable in your jurisdiction, disputes shall be heard in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. We will post the revised Terms and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Services after the changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Services.
